About WitchFest
A Grassroots Celebration of Majick, Creativity, Healing, Seasonal Traditions & Community
WitchFest brings together mystics, healers, visionaries, artists, wisdom keepers, makers, performers, families and curious souls in celebration of the changing seasons.
Rooted in community and inspired by a festival tradition that began in Ontario nearly two decades ago, everyone is invited to find their place in the circle.
Our Story
WitchFest is a new chapter in a grassroots festival tradition that began with PaganFest in Barrie, Ontario.
In 2008, Tamare White-Wolf and members of the local Pagan community began gathering around the seasonal Sabbats. Those gatherings grew into PaganFest — a community festival of ceremony, workshops, music, healing, creativity, learning and celebration.
Over more than a decade, PaganFest welcomed people from many Pagan and spiritual paths and became a place where community could gather, share traditions and learn from one another.
The final Ontario PaganFest was held in 2019. Today, that experience and community spirit help inspire WitchFest’s new chapter in Victoria.
